Embark on a fascinating journey to discover the gems of Morocco's
vibrant cities. Our adventure begins with a pick-up from your
riad/hotel, followed by a drive to Rabat via the cosmopolitan city of
Casablanca. During your visit to Casablanca, we will take you to see the
awe-inspiring United Nations building, the prestigious Avenue Mohammed
V, the ANFA District, and the magnificent mosque of Hassan II. After
lunch, we will continue our tour to Rabat, where you will discover the
capital's highlights, including the stunning Mausoleum of Mohamed V, the
grand Hassan Tower, and the historic Kasbah Chellah near Oudaya
Gardens.
We will start our day by leaving Rabat for a journey to the fascinating
Roman ruins of Volubilis. Once there, we will have the opportunity to
explore the incredible ancient capital, the Forum, the baths of
Gallium, and other impressive historical sites. From there, we will
continue to Meknes and make our way through the grand Bab Mansour gate.
We will then visit the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, which is widely
considered to be one of the most impressive structures in the city. If
timing permits, we may be able to view the beautifully decorated tomb
inside. Finally, we will conclude our day in the oldest city in
Morocco, Fez.
Discover the authentic city of Fez, where the old medina takes you on a
journey back in time. Immerse yourself in the medieval charm of narrow
alleys and vibrant souks. The medina is encircled by a continuous line
of gates and ramparts that will leave you in awe. Explore historical
landmarks such as the La Mederssa Attarine, Nejjarine fountain, and the
mosques of El Karaouyine, Medersa Bou Inania, and Baba Jloud
Following breakfast, we embark on a tour of Marrakech's historical sites
including the Menara Gardens, Koutoubia Minaret, Saadian Tombs, and the
Bahia Palace. We'll also explore the walls of the old medina, Agdal
Gardens, the new Sueliz district, the bustling markets, and the
world-renowned Djemaa el Fna Square. This vibrant square, as large as a
football field, has remained virtually unchanged for over 500 years and
is a hub for storytellers, vendors of magic potions, dancers, snake
charmers, and acrobats.
