Day one: Agadir to the Desert of Zagora
Head toward Zagora from Agadri via Saffrom Taliouine and Taznakht, the Berber carpet capital. Until landing in Zagora, enjoy lunch in Taznakht and pause at other places along the way for spectacular views of the High Atlas Ranges, casbahs, and palm tree oases.
Embark on a sunset camel trip across the dunes upon landing, or chose to reserve the ride for the sunrise the next day. Settle into the nomad tents for a night in the mountains. Enjoy dinner with friendly people and local music in a warm environment. Share some laughs and appreciate the Sahara’s heaven and quiet.
Day two: Zagora Desert from Ouarzazate to Agadir
Wake early to appreciate the sunrise on the second day and drink in the last moments of the Sahara. Start your journey back to Agadir after getting breakfast. On the way to Ouarzazate, recognised as the Hollywood of Africa, pass across the High Atlas Mountains and some more Berber villages.
Visit Taourirte Casbah and the Atlas Cinema Studios upon arrival. Then, go to Ait Ben Haddou, Africa’s most popular casbah, for free time to explore and have lunch in a nearby restaurant. The trip back to Agadir starts after lunch, arriving in the late afternoon.
