The tower stands tall at 44 meters and still stands today, having been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2012. There are also several other historical sites such as the Andalusian garden, Kasbah des Oudaias, Rabat Archeological Museum and Chellah necropolis.

The city of Rabat is full of unique sights and activities for travelers to enjoy. There are many sightseeing tours available in the city that offer travelers an opportunity to explore the sites from an expert guide. One popular tour takes visitors around some of the main highlights including seeing views from Tour Hassan Tower and exploring galleries filled with ancient artifacts at Rabat Archaeological Museum. For those looking for something more adventurous there are plenty of activities such as horseback riding along beaches or through nearby forests, quad biking excursions through nearby villages or sailing trips down Bou Regreg River.

In addition to traditional Moroccan food like couscous or tajine dishes you can find Mediterranean cuisine such as pasta dishes or pizza served up in one of its many restaurants near Place de 16 Novembre square. You can also find unique shops selling handmade crafts or art galleries where local artists display their work; these places offer rare insight into local culture while providing visitors an opportunity to discover unique items they won’t find anywhere else in Morocco.
